Kristaps Vanadzinsh trio

Kristaps Vanadziņš Trio includes some of the brightest representatives of modern Latvian jazz music — composer and pianist Kristaps Vanadziņš, drummer Rūdolfs Dankfelds and double bassist Jānis Rubiks. Kristaps Vanadziņš has been working as a musician and producer in many different recordings, has participated in the musical and dance concert show «Cabaret». K. Vanadziņš has already released three albums «The New trio», «Himalaj» and «Piano improvisations». The Trio are known for their clear and nuanced sound along with traditional methods of harmonizing (swing, afro-influence) and New World inspirations (rubato, academic and Scandinavian music). Their music displays creole, African, and voodoo influences mixed with European impressionism, Scandinavian sounds, traditional music, and inspirations of the musicians’ origins. «The Love Garden has Overgrown» was recorded in August of 2020 at Concert Hall «Latvija» in Ventspils, Latvia by «Jersika Records».
