Plays the Principal Flute in Latvian National Symphony Orchestra since 1976. Initially studied in E. Darzins Music School with L. Veilande, later in J. Vitols Latvian Academy of Music, graduated from L. Lazdins flute class in 1975. A. Ārgale had a success in various competitions when she was still a student at the music school and this experience, along with the work in orchestra, has been perfected and developed playing together with the colleagues from orchestra Vilnis Pelnēns, Valdis Zariņš, Dagnija Eihena and others. The collaboration with the dancer Vija Vetra has been especially creative and fruitful.
