Arigo Štrāls

Member of the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra since 1981; he plays the Principal Viola since 1995.
After graduating from the Alfr.Kalnins Cesis Music High School in 1979 ped. R. Villeruss’ class, he continued his studies at the J. Vitols Latvian State Conservatory with Prof. B. Tiltins.
Mr. Strals has made performances with the Riga Chamber Players. Alongside his work in the orchestra, he teaches at the J. Vitols Latvian Academy of Music and at the Jaz. Medins Music High School.
