Also transcription for alto flute and piano; clarinet and piano. "Two contemporaries - the French giant Olivier Messiaen and the Latvian composer Lūcija Garūta. French musical charm and Latvian exalted poetry. The language of those composers’ music can be described in the manner of having sophisticated substances and ethereal, transcendental delicacy. In my piece, inspired by Twenty Gazes on the Child Jesus by Messiaen and Preludes by Garūta, there have not been any direct musical quotations. It has merely allusions ...
