Latvian historical war drama "Blizzard of Souls" has been shortlisted for Best Original Score at the Academy Awards, according to the Awards homepage
The Best Original Score category has fifteen nominations on the shortlist.
"Blizzard of Souls" was also selected by Latvia for Best International Feature Film but didn't make it on the shortlist.
The author of the score for "Blizzard of Souls", Lolita Ritmane, has already received the Hollywood Music in Media Award for the best score of a foreign film.
