Last year has been quite productive for the Latvian national recording company SKANi: since our main goal is to produce high quality recordings of Latvian classical music and to make them available to the listeners and audience worldwide, this year we've released 17 albums, including two Latvian ethno and jazz music selections and many classical and contemporary world premiere releases.
The albums produced by SKANi are available both as CD and digital download/streaming in 80 countries of the world. The national recording company was founded 7 years ago, and since has been releasing some of the finest examples of Latvian musical heritage, both premiere studio recordings and historical recordings of music by noteworthy composers that have never been available before.
