Description
"Latvian composers and performers are no longer strangers to the recording industry ocean - those interested will find their names in the catalogues of many different record companies of the world. For this release, Latvian Radio has selected some first class works from their archives, which, for some reason, have not yet been released on the shiny metal. This double disc is not meant to be an anthology, as that would require the presence of at least 50 composers, but, by taking a look at the world of nine composers, it still will give the listener a condensed view of nine aspects of Latvian symphonic music."
- Arnolds Klotiņš
